Hey, what's up Lifestylers? It's Ralph Diesel, hopping back in the game to put my Royal Lifestylers up on some sneaker game! For those that know me especially, sneakers were LIFE before reality moved in. Priorities had to be set over the years so my investment in the sneaker culture has diminished significantly.
However, my love for the game is still there. Even though my budget has dwindled, each purchase is extremely impactful. Here are my Top 5 Favorite Sneakers from my past and current collections!
1. NIKE AIR YEEZY 2 NRG "Solar Red"
I bought these back in 2013 for $600 (due to the hype). Now they are worth north of $15,000! I wear mine too! Check them out here.
2. NIKE AIR YEEZY 2 "RED OCTOBER"
Uber is comfortable and extremely rare (back then and now!) Pricing is pretty on these nowadays. Sheesh!
3. 2006 Nike Dunk Low Journeys Rasta
Man, these joints right here got me through nursing school which was during the massive SB craze in 2006. They are comfy and represent the rasta lifestyle colors. Definitely some head turners! You can still get 'em for the low, which is great.
4. Air Jordan 14 Retro Low 'Laney'
My favorite Jordan to date. I've always had a lot of Jordan's but I recently bought my first pair of 14's. The Laney's were just always crisp and have such a dope color combo! These matched my Subway Uniform as well. Definite grab!
5. Pharrell x Adidas NMD Human Race Birthday
Pharrell brought some "pizazz" back to Adidas with these. The interchangeable laces allow me to chill or turn it up a bit. They're kinda hard to lace up and they are on the snug side with the fit. However, with some lace adjusting, you'll be good.
Good luck finding them in mint condition!
Let me know in the comments: which one is your favorite? How would you style them?
